Step 1. Cleanse and tone your skin thoroughly in the evening, removing all traces of makeup, sunscreen and the day.

Step 2. Apply your serum first (the Payot Supreme Micro-Pearl Youth Serum pairs beautifully) and allow it to absorb fully.

Step 3. Warm a hazelnut sized amount of cream between your fingertips.

Step 4. Massage gently into your face, neck and décolletage using upward, sweeping motions, working from the centre of the face outwards.

Step 5. Finish by lightly pressing your palms against your skin to seal in the cream. Allow a minute or two before lying down.
